The place for all your burning questions...

Q.  Where do I park?

A. There is a very reasonably-priced parking lot across from the Valentine Theater.  Do be sure to not leave any valuables in your car, and please do not park in the spaces directly outside of the theater entrance; these are for the bride, groom, and wedding vendors.

Q.  What should I wear?

A.  Attire for the wedding is formal.  No need for a tuxedo, but please leave your jeans at home.

Q.  What time should I arrive?

A.  Please come between 6 and 6:30pm, and be ready for the ceremony to start at 6:30.  Claire will actually be on time for the first (and possibly last) time in her life, due to a hired team of specialists equipped with several watches, all set to eastern standard time.  Zach is still skeptical of this.

Q.  Can I bring a date?

A.  Yes, but please limit yourself to one person, and be sure to tell us his or her name when you RSVP.

Q.  Will there be dancing?

A.  YES.  So bring your dancing shoes and leave your inhibitions at the bar.  The Dewdroppers will be playing after dinner, which is, as far as Claire is concerned, is when the party starts.

Q.  So...the wedding doesn't start until 6:30.  What am I supposed to do until then?

A.  Glad you asked!  Toledo may be small and unassuming on the surface, but there is quite a bit to do here when it's nice out.  Our Museum is one of the best in the country (and is super convenient to the downtown area), and our fabulous Zoo just re-opened their aquarium.  The Toledo Farmer's Market is open until 2pm on Saturdays, and downtown Toledo has a host of bars and restaurants that are worth exploring.

Q.  How did you guys meet?

A.  About two years ago, Claire was out for her birthday with her friends.  They began the night at their favorite watering hole, with the intention of moving on to another bar for dancing later in the night.  Claire was anxious to get to the dancing portion of the evening, but her friends had other plans--Renee had to stay and take pictures of what Claire would refer to for the next 20 minutes as "some dumb band".  Grumpy about the lack of dancing occuring at the bar, Claire poutily watched the band perform and quickly realized how good they were--and how dashingly handsome the lead singer and guitar player was.  When she asked her friend Ginger who this mysteriously attractive stranger was, Ginger was surprised to find that Claire had never met the boy named Zach who played lead guitar and sang in the band called Gold.  She instantly resolved to introduce them, knowing they would hit it off.   The rest, as they say, is history.
