Flying

For guests who will be flying in, there are two options:  Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW), and Toledo Express Airport (TOL).  The Detroit airport has the best direct flights and connections to domestic and international locations, and is a 45-minute drive from downtown Toledo.  The Toledo airport has flights to limited domestic locations, usually connecting through Detroit or Chicago, and is 25 minutes from downtown Toledo.  Both airports have taxi and limo services.

Pro Tip:  There is a tunnel that runs under the runway between concourses A and B/C in the McNamara Terminal (Delta) of the Detroit airport.  It plays ambient music with a matching light show.

Driving

Toledo is located at the intersection of I-75 and I-80, in Northwest Ohio.  We're about 4 hours from Chicago, 2 hours from Cleveland, 2.5 hours from Columbus, and 45 minutes from Detroit and Ann Arbor.  Driving here is very feasible, as traffic is light compared to most big cities, and parking downtown is free or very reasonably priced.  Use caution around rush hour (5-7pm on weekdays), and watch out for construction on the highway, a year-round Ohio disease.

Hotels

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Park Inn by Radisson in downtown Toledo at a group rate of $99/night, good for the 26th-27th of June, 2015.  The hotel offers a shuttle service to any location within 2 miles.  You might not need it, however--the Valentine Theater is located only a few blocks away.  There are also a number of great restaurants and bars within walking distance of the hotel.  Hotel reservations can be made by calling toll free (800-670-7275), directly to the hotel's reservation line (419-241-3000), or via e-mail to Samantha Beane (samantha.beane@parkinn.com).  Guests should use the block code 1506CAMRUE to get the group rate, which is available until May 27th.
